SF technology, also known as stream finishing, gives rise to an innovative new generation of mass finishing machines. In this process, the workpieces are clamped in a holder and lowered into a rotating container filled with a grinding or polishing medium. The actual finishing motion is generated by the grinding or polishing medium flowing around the workpiece and in addition by the independent rotation of the workpiece itself. This enables surfaces with values of Ra 0.01 to be obtained, even in the smallest chip flutes. The SF process offers very short finishing times, is easy to automate and at the same time produces highly consistent and reliable results.
As a trusted global partner for perfect surfaces, OTEC builds innovative finishing machines which set high standards and achieve perfect process reliability. Revolutionising manual processing applicat...
