Safety protections
Safety guards, such as for automatic machines or machine tools, are critical to ensuring a safe working environment and preventing accidents. These safeguards can include physical devices, such as barriers and screens, that prevent access to dangerous parts of the machine during operation. In addition, emergency stop systems and presence sensors are essential to immediately stop the machine in critical situations.
Gecam makes the first type of safety protection: transparent panels to physically prevent contact with hazardous areas for the operator. It is made according to the customer’s design, by milling polycarbonate or PMMA sheets and then hot bending or gluing them with UV glues to obtain panels, exhaust tunnels, access doors and whatever else may serve to isolate the work area. In the appropriate sections you can find more information about polycarbonate panels or PMMA panels, their advantages and strengths, and their characteristics.
Each panel is then scrupulously inspected and packaged: the strength of these materials is near-perfect transparency; your product cannot have any scratches or imperfections!
